{"id":473,"date":"2024-04-07T14:21:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-07T14:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ics.cr\/?p=473"},"modified":"2024-09-16T14:22:59","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T14:22:59","slug":"central-banks-monthly-index-of-economic-activity-records-growth-as-of-february-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ics.cr\/en\/indice-mensual-de-actividad-economica-del-banco-central-registra-crecimiento-a-febrero-de-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Bank's monthly economic activity index records growth as of February 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bank of Costa Rica at the end of last week published the Monthly Index of Economic Activities (IMAE) as of February 2024, which shows a growth trend of 3.6% in year-on-year terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special regime recorded an increase of 6.0% and the definitive regime had a positive variation of 3.3%, which is 1.4% higher than the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About 50% of the dynamism of the final regime is determined by professional services (18.4%), trade (17.9%) and transportation and warehousing (13.8%).
