government records primary surplus in the first four months of 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Finance published last week the fiscal figures as of April 2024, in which the central government recorded a primary surplus in the first four months of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result of the primary surplus in millions of colones is the third highest in the last 19 years, surpassed by those recorded in 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, the financial deficit reached 1.1% of
