We inform you that the The Consumer Price Index recorded in October 2025 a monthly variation of +0.19 percent, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Census.
With this result, the accumulated variation for the year, from January to October, remains at -1.77 percent, while the interannual variation, which measures inflation, stood at -0.38 percent.
The divisions that most influenced the monthly increase were Transportation and Recreation, sports and culture.
Among the products with the highest increases were potatoes, gasoline and tourist packages abroad, while rice, tomatoes and onions showed the main decreases.
Of the 289 goods and services included in the index, 38 percent rose, 43 percent fell, and 19 percent remained unchanged.
INEC confirms that, although October registered a slight increase, the country's year-on-year inflation remains in negative territory.
