Through a press release, the Ministry of Finance informed that the National Customs Service, in compliance with the sentence N°219-2024 of June 4, 2024, of the Administrative and Civil Court of Appeals of the Treasury, modified in the TICA System, the Import Tariff Duties (DAI) for rice in granules and milled rice.

With the annulment of the suspension by the Court of Appeals, the tariffs on grain imports went from 35% to 3.5% and 4%, in view of the implementation of the Executive Decree known as the "Rice Route" promoted by the Government of the Republic.
